Lunchboxing is an always-evolving potpourri of sometimes humorous and sometimes entertaining content. Here are some "fun facts" for you to contemplate while a more concrete definition of lunchboxing is formulated:
- Lunchboxing is an attitude. It is also a web-site.
- Lunchboxing is often referred to as "LUBO" because it is fun.
- Lunchboxing started in the Summer of 2002. Right about the time I secured my current job as a receptionist at a design studio in San Francisco.
- Technically, I am an administrative assistant. But receptionist sounds better when you are trying to appeal to people in that cool, "struggling artist" kinda way.
- The reason I am still a receptionist is because I am still trying to figure out which art I would like to struggle at.
- Sometimes it is writing. Sometimes it is making cartoons. I also like to make videos and put on shows.
- Some weeks lunchboxing is updated three or four times. Other weeks not at all. Check back hourly to see what kind of week this one will be.
- The archives page is pretty much useless for now. Click here to check it out.
- There is a kinda lunchbox/school theme to the site. It is fun, but disregard it as it is completely irrelevant these days.
- The Bullies section of the site is a good example. None of the people listed are mean or in any way "bullyish."
- Lunchboxing is the proud host of a series of art-music-humor events called The New Expression. Go to them.
- We like to use exclamation points. Seriously. This page is a poor, possibly ironic example.
- We are always accepting submissions for articles, reviews, or whatever. Send them to me at jamie@lunchboxing.com. Here is our current style guide.
- We are always talking about redesigning and stuff. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
- Lunchboxing means no offense to anyone. For the most part, anyway.
- If you are offended, sorry. Seriously.
- All facts are inherently fun, believe it or not.
