 Punch Drunk Love: Pretty Good by Tim Molloy "Punch Drunk Love," is this one movie by the guy who made Boogie Nights. It just came out. I don't know when but I saw it two weeks ago in New York so I'm not sure when it would be in your area. Because I'm like, soooo cool, I live in New York. Anyhoo. Adam Sandler's in it and the chick from all these Irish movies and also the guy in Traffic who has that part where he's like, "I've been wanting to bust big people -- white people!" Classic. Sandler plays this guy who's all weird and buys pudding and his sisters are always giving him all this shit, like "Adam what's with you?" And he's all, "ooooh, eeeeh, leave me alone, I'm weird", and he breaks the window. He has this blue suit and it seems like it kind of doesn't fit him. And plus the guy from Schindler's List and Red Dragon is in it, which sucks by the way. Red Dragon, I mean, not Schindler's List, which was alright if you don't mind sitting through a super depressing movie. Or wait, actually, different guy. So Sandler's all hooking up with the girl and he just rips the shit out of this one bathroom and the guy's all, "I can't prove you did it but you need to leave," and these dudes from Utah just beat his ass and later he goes all full-blown apeshit. But he's always getting fucked over, like when he wants to use his pudding to go to Hawaii but they don't let him. And the guy -- Luis Guzman, that's his name -- he's all like, "Why are you wearing a suit today?" So later he's wearing one too. Probably the greatest shit in there is Sandler gets all "aaaaahhhhh bitch fucking give me the number" because his sister is all fucking with him. "Punch-Drunk Love," a Columbia Pictures release, runs 95 minutes. Three stars out of four.
