Sledding, Leg Hair, And Wintertime Magic: An Interview With Mike Senese

Jamie: Hi Mike.

Mike: Hiiii.

Jamie:I want to ask you a couple questions about winter. Does that sound fun to you?

Mike:Of course! What kinda questions do you have in mind?

Jamie:All kinds! Like for example: Do you like winter?

Mike:I do. Aside from a twenty year stretch where I lived on the West Coast or in other warm areas, I've always had fun in the wintertime. And even in those spots too I guess!

Jamie:What is your favorite thing to do EVER in the wintertime. Be candid.

Mike:Well, candidly, I like to sit in my window and look out at the snow falling so peacefully and quiet, silencing the town with a blanket of serenity. This is nice at night time when most people are inside. Its my sensitive side.

Jamie:My sensitive side likes Boyz II Men. A LOT. Ok, let's pretend the candidness has evaporated. NOW what is your favorite thing to do in the wintertime.

Mike: I like to slide around!

Jamie: Are you sliding around in this picture here?

Mike:Sledding. Like a champ. And I'm screaming cuz I'm about to go off that huge ledge.

Jamie:What happened?!

Mike:You should've seen it--I went off the edge and it felt like I was flying. The snow padded my landing though. Right before I went off the side, a big puff of snowdust blasted into my face so I couldn't see so good. It was terrifying.

Jamie:Sounds like it! Are you ok now?

Mike:A-OK all the way. I ran right back to the top for another go, spirits a-blast.

Jamie:Winter dreams coming true!

Mike:They truly do. Truly.

Jamie:Any words for kids at home trying to make the most of winter?

Mike:I would tell them to look inside and find the magic of winter in their hearts. And wear thermals, all the time--it makes a difference. If the thermals rub against your leg hairs uncomfortably, try trimming the hair a bit shorter--it makes a more comfortable fit.

Jamie:Great advice. Thanks Mike, for your words today.

Mike: Thank you, Jizzy! And please don't forget photo credits for Pamela Senese.

Jamie: Done and done! I think people will be changed today.

Mike:Yeah? Fired up?

Jamie: My ass couldn't be hotter.
